The Cerro Dominador project was recognized as the Best Renewable Energy Financing in América by the publication Project Finance International.

The $1.4 billion investment includes a 100 MW photovoltaic power and a 110 MW CSP plant which will resume construction next quarter.
With the presence of the main representatives of CSP, Cerro Dominador outlined his experience as first project in Chile with this technology.

The solar complex, in adition with other companies, sponsors this audiovisual competition organized by the Ministry of Energy of the region.
WorleyParson’s technical team is working on site, starting this week, and will take the role of Owner’s Engineer for the project.
The first works will be carried out at the photovoltaic plant, which will inject 100 MW into the energy system.
The platform was owned by Abengoa in a joint venture with EIG Global Energy Partners, who now becomes the project's owner.
The complex, with an overall installed capacity of 210 MW, will include the first solar thermal plant in Latin America and a photovoltaic plant.
